Our Custom Scent Creation service is available exclusively with a Luxury Event Favors order from The Alexandre House by DTZ and may not be purchased as a standalone service.

Custom Scent Creation — $95 One-Time Fee

Create a fragrance experience designed specifically for your event.

Instead of selecting from our signature fragrance collection, we will develop a personalized scent based on the mood, style, fragrance family and notes you would like incorporated into your celebration.

Your custom fragrance may be inspired by profiles such as:

Fresh • Floral • Warm • Woody • Sweet • Tropical • Clean • Gourmand • Masculine • Feminine • Unisex

You may also share fragrances you already love, notes you would like included, notes you would prefer to avoid, and the overall feeling you want the scent to create.

The $95 Fee Includes

• One personalized fragrance consultation
• One custom fragrance concept
• Fragrance development based on your requested scent profile
• One physical 10 mL fragrance sample mailed to you for review and approval
• One major scent adjustment, if needed
• One minor scent adjustment, if needed
• Final use of the approved fragrance in your Luxury Event Favor order

This service includes the development of one custom fragrance per purchase.

How It Works

After purchasing Custom Scent Creation, we will collect information about your event and fragrance preferences.

You may be asked about:

• Event type and date
• Preferred fragrance families
• Scents you already enjoy
• Notes you would like included
• Notes you would like avoided
• Whether you prefer fresh, floral, fruity, woody, warm, sweet, clean, tropical, gourmand or unisex fragrances
• The overall mood or experience you would like your fragrance to create

Using this information, The Alexandre House by DTZ will develop your initial custom fragrance.

Your Fragrance Sample

Once your custom scent has been developed, one physical 10 mL fragrance sample will be mailed to you for review before your event-favor order enters full production.

You may approve the fragrance as created or request one of the included adjustments.

Please review your fragrance promptly after receiving your sample, as delays in approval may affect your original production and shipping timeline.

Included Adjustments

One Major Adjustment

A major adjustment allows for a meaningful change within the original scent concept.

Examples may include:

• Making the fragrance noticeably sweeter or less sweet
• Shifting the fragrance toward a fresher, warmer, more floral or more woody profile
• Reducing or increasing a prominent fragrance family
• Changing the overall balance of the original blend

A completely new fragrance direction or request for an entirely different fragrance concept may require an additional development fee.

One Minor Adjustment

A minor adjustment is a smaller refinement to the approved fragrance direction.

Examples may include:

• Slightly increasing or reducing a particular note
• Softening the sweetness
• Adding a little more warmth or freshness
• Fine-tuning the overall balance of the blend

Additional revisions beyond the included major and minor adjustment may require an additional fee and additional production time.

Fragrance Approval

Fragrance is highly personal and may be experienced differently from person to person.

The Alexandre House by DTZ will create your fragrance based on the scent notes, fragrance family, preferences and overall direction you provide. While every effort will be made to reflect your requested fragrance experience, an exact interpretation of how a fragrance will smell to each individual cannot be guaranteed.

Once the final fragrance has been approved, the approved formula will be used to produce your Luxury Event Favors.

Full favor production will begin only after the fragrance sample has been approved and all required event customization details have been finalized.

Once final approval has been provided and production has begun, additional fragrance changes may not be possible.

Lead Time

Custom Scent Creation orders should be placed approximately 6–8 weeks before your event date.

This allows adequate time for:

• Fragrance consultation
• Custom scent development
• Sample preparation
• Sample shipping
• Customer testing and review
• Included fragrance adjustments, if needed
• Final approval
• Production of your Luxury Event Favors
• Shipping to you before your event

We strongly recommend beginning the custom fragrance process as early as possible.

Rush custom scent development is not guaranteed.

Important Custom Scent Information

Custom Scent Creation is available only with a Luxury Event Favors order.

Please do not purchase Custom Scent Creation without an accompanying favor order.

The $95 fee covers fragrance development and does not include the cost of the event favors themselves.

One custom fragrance is included per Custom Scent Creation purchase.

The final scent may vary slightly when incorporated into different product bases or formats.

Additional fragrance samples, additional fragrance concepts, major changes outside the original fragrance direction, or revisions beyond the included adjustment allowance may require an additional fee.

Custom production timelines begin only after all required information, selections and approvals have been received.

Specialty fragrance components and other custom materials are subject to availability.
